hi everyone! i know it is almost the end of january, but i decided to do my top 11 products of 2011. some of these i’ve talked about before so i won’t go into detail, but here are what i consider the real standouts of the year!

1. revlon colorstay foundation

2. mac studio finish concealer - i picked this up when ruby and i were in montreal over christmas. i am pretty sure it’s first concealer i ever used… when i was 13. i came back to it using it just as a facial concealer and am now using it for spot coverage and over my armani under eye corrector. i love it! such full coverage. its amazing!

3. maybelline dream matte powder

4. ELF studio blush in tickled pink

5. prestige highlighter. i have tried all kinds of highlighers and even purchased mac mineralized skin finish in redhead, a highly raved about product on both blogs and youtube. not even that compares to this bad boy. it is the perfect colour and its got just the right amount of sheen. no glitter involved.

6. mac paint pot in soft ochre

7. mac eye shadow in cork. best crease colour ever. best brow colour ever. best base for a smokey eye… ever!

8. l’oreal telescopic mascara

9. revlon lip butter in creme brule. this is the best nude i have ever found. its semi sheer, but still tones down my naturally very dark lips. hooray!

10. stella by stella mccartney perfume. the original. i have been wearing this for about 5 years. never lets me down.

11. virgin coconut oil. this is a new discovery but has quickly become my most loved product in the medicine cabinet. i use this to moisturise (damn you winter!), remove make up if i have forgotten to take it off the night before (damn you vodka!). i use this on my face, body, eyebrows, eyelashes, hair, you name it! this only cost $9 bucks from the health food store and i swear i will never buy a bottle of normal moisturiser ever again!
